Finally getting around to posting a little introduction though I am still trying to find time to figure out this site. I'm wmssscottholmes on Tumblr, hoping that it does not die completely after the 17th since I am more of a lurker and reblogger than anything else and it suits me better than *waves hands vaguely* whatever this is lol. Our little Sherlockian/johnlock community has meant the world to me for the last six years or so, so I will gladly follow you all wherever. I also set up an account at Pillowfort as wmsscottholmes and have been on Twitter for some time as @SamhainChester although of late that account has mostly been for griping about the state of the world.

I too am better suited to just lurk about than to produce any kind of content or analysis or whatever. I think tumblr is going to remain somewhat active since I’m sure we’re not alone in this.
However, I’ve grown to like DW because fans are more likely to share more of their personal lives, which makes it feel more as if we’re regulars at a local book club, rather than people sharing faceless content.

I'm mostly a reblogger too, so dw feels very different, but it also feels "safe", in that it's not a corporate-owned space, so it feels like there is less chance of sudden arbitrary deletion. There are already some things i like better here, but of the very few things i will miss about tumblr (if the end comes) is their spellchecker! :D
